New Sales Engineer to Strengthen SMC's Focus on the Food Industry

SMC Denmark continues to expand its team and has appointed Matias Elley Foght as its new Sales Engineer, Protein/Food. In this role, he will help customers in the food industry identify value-creating solutions and provide technical expertise and support.

Matias joined SMC in August and is particularly looking forward to working closely with customers:
“I’m excited to get started and collaborate with customers to find value-creating solutions,” he says.

As a Sales Engineer, Matias will bring his knowledge of food production to help companies optimize their processes and production operations.

His goal is to create value through technical consulting and a strong understanding of customers’ challenges.
When customers meet Matias, he hopes they will see him as a knowledgeable and trusted advisor:
“Hopefully, they’ll remember me as a competent young professional with solid expertise in food production and someone they can spar with on their challenges.”

Matias finds energy both at work and in his personal life:
“Great colleagues, spending time with my girlfriend and family, and taking on challenges that require creative solutions give me energy,” he explains.
When it is time to completely switch off from everyday life, Matias turns to painting:
“To relax in my free time, I paint, both with oil and acrylic paints.”

With the appointment of Matias Elley Foght, SMC Denmark is further strengthening its focus on the food industry and the specialized solutions that support the sector’s high demands for efficiency, quality, and operational reliability.
