Sicodan ApS
Total supplier to the metal industry since 1899
Sicodan has its roots all the way back to 1899, when the Olsen family established a blacksmith shop. It started with blacksmithing, but quickly became the sale of products for the iron and metal industry.
In 1958, the son, Erik Otto Olsen, takes over Humlebæk Smede and Maskinværksted. Erik Olsen focus is on plumbing, ventilation and blacksmithing for larger buildings. The subsidiary company, Sicodan Humlebæk A/S, was founded in 1963 and specializes in sales and advice of equipment for ventilation and sheet metal processing.
In 1975, all activities were brought together in the company Sicodan Maskiner Aps.
A new generation is taking over
In 2018, Sicodan completed a generational change, with a new director and owner, Kristian Kjær.
