HAPO Back is designed by ErgoSanté Technology, with the aim of reducing problems with the back and lower back.
Who can use a HAPO?
This exoskeleton is intended for anyone who needs back support and/or for people whose position is considered to be a strain on the back. The size of HAPO Back can be found in 3 sizes which together cover approx. 90% of the population.
Regardless of posture, HAPO reduces the strain on the lower back and protects the soft discs in the spine:
- In a standing, forward-bent position, HAPO provides physical assistance when the back forms an angle greater than 5-20 °.
- The upper body "rests" on the chest and relieves it with the lower back.
HAPO works by "moving" the forces from the lower back (via chest support) to the thighs using springs. The waist belt makes it possible to reduce the pressure on the lumbar vertebrae.
