Graphite is an ideal material for use in high temperature applications in vacuum or inert atmosphere due to it´s unique properties.

Svenska Tanso supplies a wide range of both isotropic and extruded graphite, each grade having its own unique properties. This makes it possible to select the most suitable material, meeting most of the requirements our customers might have.

As graphite is produced in large blocks or rounds, basically any kind of shape or design is possible to produce.

Graphite features:
– High heat resistance and superior thermal shock properties
– Excellent thermal and electrical conductivity
– Self-lubricating
– Superior chemical resistance
– Good machinability
– Low density

The application areas are several – only imagination is the limit.
