arrow_backTo the overviewThe KxS refractometer is designed using the latest available technology – what some refer to as 5th-generation technology.
It is the only high-pressure refractometer with EHEDG certification.
Applications
The sensors continuously measure the refractive index of a process medium, which can be converted into a BRIX value, concentration or total solids content.
Typical applications include:
- Monitoring liquid-to-liquid interfaces in the dairy and beverage industries, for example during CIP processes or liquid filling operations.
- Product optimization and quality assurance in liquid systems, including sugar dissolution, juice blending and jam production.
- Monitoring membrane filtration efficiency in process and food applications. One example is monitoring membrane performance during protein and whey separation in the dairy industry.
- Optimization of evaporation processes in the food industry.
The DCM-20 is 3-A and EHEDG certified for use in hygienic applications and comes with a 2-year warranty.
The sensors are available with a wide range of process connections and can be installed in the same connection as other BRIX meters using a 2.5″ clamp connection.
