The Elcometer 280 Pulsed DC Holiday Tester allows users to inspect coatings - without connecting the earth return lead to the component substrate - ideal for inspecting large surfaces and pipelines.

Pulsed DC is a high voltage level method where the energy is contained in very short pulses. It is used to detect key flaws such as thin spots and bubbles even if the coating is damp, dirty or slightly conductive.
