Meet BROEN-LAB at FoodTech - where safety must work in practice
arrow_backTo the overview30 September 2026 | BROEN-LAB A/S
From October 27–29, BROEN-LAB will be participating in FoodTech in Herning. There, we’ll be focusing on safety in the food industry and demonstrating how a modern emergency shower solution can be combined with intelligent monitoring via FALCON.
When an employee works with chemicals, cleaning agents, or other potentially harmful substances, safety equipment must be readily available when needed. If an accident occurs, every second counts.
But safety isn’t just about having an emergency shower installed. It must be properly located, easy to find and operate—and, most importantly, function as intended when the situation demands it.
A Comprehensive Approach to Emergency Shower Safety
At FoodTech, BROEN-LAB will present our emergency shower solutions for professional production environments.
We tailor our solutions to each company’s specific conditions and risks and can assist with the entire process—from needs assessment and solution selection to installation, testing, service, and documentation.
BROEN-LAB’s emergency shower lineup includes, among other things, full-body showers, eye and face wash stations, combination showers, heated solutions, as well as accessories and testing equipment.
The goal is not merely to install a product. It is to create a safety solution tailored to the workplace that is ready for use when it really matters.
From Emergency Shower to Intelligent Safety System
At the trade show, you can also experience FALCON, BROEN-LAB’s cloud-based monitoring system for emergency showers.
FALCON enables real-time data collection from emergency showers—even across multiple buildings and locations. Among other things, the system can detect when an emergency shower is activated and send an alarm to selected employees, just as maintenance staff can be notified of issues such as pressure drops or other system malfunctions.
At the same time, FALCON provides access to data and tools for planning and documenting maintenance.
This means that the emergency shower no longer needs to be an isolated piece of safety equipment. It can become an active part of the company’s overall safety and maintenance efforts.
Safety must be visible—even when everything is working.
The best safety equipment is the kind you hopefully never have to use. That’s precisely why it can be a challenge to know whether the equipment is actually ready on the day it becomes necessary.
With the right combination of emergency showers, regular testing, service, and digital monitoring, companies can take a more systematic approach to employee safety and gain a better overview of their installations.
That’s the approach we’re bringing to FoodTech.
