Value-adding solutions and a wide range of activities, including presentations with a strong professional focus, are on the agenda when Svejsebrancheklubben (the welding industry club) presents the latest developments in welding, gases and cutting at the HI trade fair. The trade fair will take place on 3-5 October 2023 at MCH Messecenter Herning, Denmark.
Six companies that have been suppliers to the metal manufacturing industry for more than 40 years are members of Svejsebrancheklubben, which is organising a large event area at this year's HI Tech & Industry Scandinavia. And all six companies - Air Liquide Denmark, ESAB, Kemppi, Linde, Migatronic and V. Løwener, are ready with products, services and, not least, sustainable solutions.
- The latest equipment and trading solutions will be showcased on live and partially "working" stands, and everyone is ready to step out on the spot and show their solutions to the end users, says Torben Henriksen, Subsidiary Manager at Kemppi Denmark.
He explains that all members of Svejsebrancheklubben are exhibiting with the focus on increased competitiveness, and that it is everyone's hope to inspire both existing and new potential customers.
- The market in Denmark is not expected to become any bigger, but those who can adapt to the new agendas and have a more holistic and modern view of the connection between customers and trends will ultimately capture more market shares, says Torben Henriksen.
Strong emphasis on knowledge and professionalism
While Svejsebrancheklubben in previous years has presented entertainment by celebrities, this year the club has changed tack and is focusing on a programme with a different kind of professional excellence and a strong emphasis on knowledge with welding, sustainability and competitiveness as the focal points.
- With this new initiative, we want to ensure that the visitors are actually introduced to new knowledge and that they will have something to bring back to their respective workplaces - ideas that can be implemented based on the inputs they have received at the trade fair, Torben Henriksen explains.
For the same reason, Svejsebrancheklubben's presentations are divided into different themes so that the visitors can plan their trip from home and be sure to get as much out of their visit to the trade fair as possible.
Riding the sustainable wave
In Svejsebrancheklubben's event area, you'll also find Svejsecaféen (The Welding Café), which in addition to presentations also provides a setting for networking meetings, among other things. Overall, the area is very ambitious, and that's no coincidence considering who is behind it - Svejsebrancheklubben is a long-standing organisation with more than 30 years of experience.
- It is primarily companies with facilities in several countries, and they are companies that stand for quality and, with their many references, they are riding the green, sustainable wave - sparring and knowledge are thus part of the concept, says Torben Henriksen.
