Welcome to the Tribology Centre at the Danish Technological Institute – your competence center for advanced surface treatments and coatings. With over 30 years of experience in surface treatment, and especially in PVD coating (Physical Vapor Deposition), we are leaders in the development, application, and production of advanced surface solutions for protection against, for example, wear and friction. We also provide a wide range of functional surface treatments, including catalytic, electrical, superconducting, acoustic, bioactive, and anti-corrosive coatings. We are ISO 9001 certified and deliver solutions to everything from production industries to research institutions. We process both single and mass-produced parts and offer both standard solutions as well as the possibility to develop special PVD coatings for specific needs.
