Qlip is the market leader for analysis, inspection, certification and calibration within the entire international milk supply chain and is based in the Netherlands.

As Europe’s largest dairy laboratory, Qlip analyzes more than 13 million samples of raw cow’s and goat’s milk each year on behalf of dairies and dairy herd improvement organizations. Their chemical and microbiological laboratory performs nearly 700,000 analyses annually, helping their clients maintain quality across a wide variety of dairy products—from milk and cheese to plant-based dairy alternatives. They specialize in testing for contaminants, microorganisms, and nutrients such as amino acids.

Inspections & certification
In addition to laboratory analysis, Qlip provides extensive inspection and certification services. Their qualified auditors carry out more than 15,000 audits each year, supporting dairy companies in certifications for IFS, BRCGS, and FSSC22000, among others. They also offer chain certification options, such as for Weidemelk and QM-Milch, to ensure quality and traceability along the supply chain. The mother company of Qlip B.V., MLZ Holding, has acquired the Danish company Bactoforce in 2022. Bactoforce is European market leader in the inspection of processing equipment in the liquid food sector such as stainless steel silos, tanks, heat exchangers and pipelines.

Calibration products and support
Qlip also offers unique calibration products and support, including control samples and training, to help dairy facilities enhance their production accuracy and efficiency. The latest innovation, the Q-Check, enables dairies to evaluate the performance of their internal IR analysis systems, ensuring optimal use of raw materials and adherence to quality standards.
