Check list for conveyor systems

arrow_backTo the overview

02 June 2025 | ABC Industrigummi

Downtime in conveyor systems is both costly and disruptive, but it can often be prevented with simple checks. ABC Industrigummi has developed a free service checklist to help maintenance managers and site supervisors identify faults and wear on their systems before they become serious issues.

The checklist covers belt alignment, rollers, pulleys, gears, motors, bearings, emergency stops, safety signs and guards, as well as cleaning of scrapers and plough scrapers. It’s easy to use, requiring only basic tools like a flashlight, measuring instrument, and a mobile phone, and should be completed every 2,000 operating hours—or more frequently in challenging environments.

The goal is to make it easier for businesses to prevent breakdowns without always needing a service technician, though ABC Industrigummi is available for assistance if needed. The checklist is available for free download as a PDF and is suitable for both ABC’s own and other standard systems.
