Talk shows with the likes of Chili Klaus and D-A-D lead singer Jesper Binzer are in the programme when the whole welding industry descends on the hi Tech & Industry Scandinavia expo on 1–3 in MCH Messecenter Herning under the banner “Be a winner in the metal industry”.
Get new inspiration and streamlining ideas from the leading welding companies during hi Tech & Industry Scandinavia, where the Danish welding industry club, SBK (Svejsebrancheklubben), will be ready to offer value-generating solutions and a myriad of exciting activities.
The success of the Welding Café in previous years is set to be repeated as it plays host to a range of inspiring talk shows, in addition to the usual refreshments and networking meetings. This year’s key theme is “Be a winner in the metal industry”, which will be explored in various ways, including in the “Making it big time” show with the lead singer of D-A-D. Jesper Binzer will talk to occupational psychologist and futurologist Thomas Geuken about leadership, passion and fiascos – and about achieving success.
Chili, mind-reading and Rat Rod Look car
Visitors can also look forward to experiencing the nationally renowned Chili Klaus, who will challenge audience members’ tastebuds and give an inspiring pep talk on pursuing your ideas. The psychological entertainer Niels Krøjgaard will also be visiting the Welding Café with his “Psychological Manipulation” show, featuring mind-reading, mind control and illusions.
In addition to presentations, visitors will have the chance to get a close look at the awesome, handmade Rat Rod Look car, which won the ProET Challenge in the Danish Dragracing Championship in 2018. The car was inspired by the custom car builders from the 1950s and many of its parts are custom-made.
A broad industry
The members of the welding industry club, SBK (Svejsebrancheklubben), consist of: Migatronic A/S, ESAB ApS, V. Løwener A/S, Kemppi A/S, Air Liquide Danmark A/S and AGA A/S. They all participate in the hi expo every four years, when the latest developments in welding and cutting are put on display.
“We participate in the hi expo as a united industry to show our commitment to Danish industry. The hi expo is a dedicated expo aimed at the steel and machine industry, which is why we should obviously be there – not only to meet existing and potential new customers but also to show young people the many options available to them if they choose to work in this industry,” said Lars Larsen, Marketing Manager for AGA A/S, and added:
“We look forward to presenting new products, knowhow and innovative solutions while also demonstrating the breadth of our industry.”
Hi Tech & Industry Scandinavia takes place on 1–3 October 2019 in MCH Messecenter Herning, where the Danish welding industry club, SBK (Svejsebrancheklubben), will join a long list of other suppliers to the welding industry in Hall C at the Tools, Welding and Production Equipment sub expo.
