When hi Tech & Industry Scandinavia opens its doors on 1–3 October at MCH Messecenter Herning, it will be with DIAP as gold partner in the brand new expo area known as “The Smart Company 2019”, which will spotlight Industry 4.0.
DIAP by Eltronic Data Intelligence will be the gold partner when hi Tech & Industry Scandinavia welcomes visitors this autumn to the new large expo area, The Smart Company 2019, which is set to shine a light on technology and digital manufacturing. As gold partner, DIAP will put its name to the conference and stage area – DIAP Smart Stage – which will provide the framework for unique knowledge sharing through an impressive international conference programme.
“We have chosen to participate as gold partner at the hi expo, because our market-leading DIAP platform and vision are a perfect fit for the whole concept of The Smart Company. DIAP is an end-to-end solution that communicates and gathers data across PLCs, sensors and robots, and contains multiple software applications for data analysis and visualisation. This enables companies to embark on digitisation regardless of their level of automation. We will be attending the expo alongside a number of our suppliers, because we believe that sparring and collaboration across organisations is necessary in order to spread the message about digitisation. And digitisation is the only sensible way forward if we want to elevate Danish industry to the next level and strengthen global competitiveness,” said Jesper Rantala, Vice President of DIAP by Eltronic Data Intelligence, and added:
“In addition to digitising manufacturing, DIAP enables companies to take practical steps towards meeting the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals and making industrial manufacturing more sustainable. We look forward to telling visitors more about this at the expo.
Industry 4.0 in theatre style
There are countless technologies on the market, and The Smart Company gathers the latest of them in the field of digitisation and production processes under one roof and demonstrates the advantages to be gained from integrating technologies. This happens in, among other places, The Smart Company Live Theatre, where visitors can gain valuable hands-on knowledge and see how different digital solutions work in practice. Expo-goers will also be able to follow a product and its digital twin right from idea development to the finished product.
Visitors can look forward to finding solutions in five specific specialist areas, which together provide a comprehensive perspective on the many opportunities afforded by this technology. The dedicated specialist areas are: Automatic data capture; Data analysis, follow-up and monitoring; Integration with the company's IT systems; Advanced data analyses; and The Smart Company.
We are very much looking forward to presenting DIAP as our gold partner at the hi expo, and to seeing what innovative digital solutions to companies’ future production requirements they and the other exhibitors from this area will present. Digitisation is contributing to setting the agenda in a society that constantly imposes new requirements and creates new needs, and we therefore look forward to sharing the latest knowledge with our many visitors,” said Mona Jakobsen, Project Manager for MCH Messecenter Herning.
Three action-packed days
The Smart Company is being developed in collaboration with AIM Denmark and RFID i Danmark and will feature throughout the hi expo, which takes place on 1–3 October at MCH Messecenter Herning. The expo offers three action-packed days with leading companies and stakeholders in technology and industry.
In addition to a wealth of new products, visitors can look forward to experiencing various events during the expo, such as the Technomania tech event, the wind power industry’s Wind Energy Denmark event and the International Food Contest food competition.
